Range Power Cord: 4-Prong vs 3-Prong (UL Listed)
A range power cord connects your electric range, oven or cooktop to the wall outlet. Range cords carry 50 amps at 125/250V and must be UL Listed for safety in the United States. Choose 4-prong for newer homes or 3-prong for older construction.
4-Prong vs 3-Prong Range Cord: Which One Do You Need?
The prong count depends on your outlet and home build year:

Tip: If your range has a 4-prong plug but your outlet is 3-slot, you need a 4-prong to 3-prong adapter. We supply both configurations.
