What is VDE Certification?
VDE is the certification of the Association of German Electrical Engineers, a key marker for European market access. All power cords exported to the EU must pass VDE or equivalent CB certification.
Certification Process
- Submit product technical documents and samples
- VDE laboratory testing (dielectric strength, temperature rise, flame resistance)
- Factory inspection
- Certificate issued (valid for 5 years)
